Lectric XPress Lite launches at $1,099 with a 374 Wh battery
How far does the Lectric XPress Lite go, and when does it ship?
Lectric's XPress Lite is a lighter, lower-priced version of the XPress2, at $1,099 with a claimed range of up to 45 mi. It is on preorder, with shipping expected around November 2, 2026.
Electrek reported the launch on October 13, 2026. The bike has a 500 W rear hub motor (864 W peak, about 61 Nm) and a removable 48 V, 7.8 Ah battery. Electrek lists it as 375 Wh; 48 V x 7.8 Ah works out to 374 Wh.
It weighs 45.6 lb without the battery. Riders can switch between torque-sensor and cadence-sensor assist, and it has hydraulic disc brakes.
Lectric claims up to 45 mi on pedal assist. Our everyday estimate (180 lb rider, 16 mph, rolling hills) is about 26 mi, or 58% of the claim.
9to5Toys reported that preorders do not include the bundled accessories offered with the XPress2. Lectric's page says it ships the week of November 2.
