Colorado e-bike rebate: second sign-up window open Oct. 19-26
When can I apply for the Colorado e-bike rebate, and how much is it?
Colorado's relaunched income-qualified e-bike rebate is taking registrations from October 19 to October 26, 2026. The rebate is $1,000, plus $300 for an e-cargo or adaptive e-bike.
The Colorado Energy Office announced the relaunch on August 6, 2026. It has $3 million from the Community Access Enterprise for the current fiscal year and plans to fund more than 2,800 point-of-sale rebates over the next year.
Registration opens in one-week windows: August 24-31 and October 19-26, 2026, then January 11-18 and March 15-22, 2027. Windows open at 11:00 AM MT on the first day and close at 12:00 PM MT on the last day.
Recipients are picked at random from registrants. Those selected have one week to submit proof of income and address, then 60 days to redeem the rebate at a participating retailer, in person or by phone.
To qualify, you must live in Colorado, be at least 18, and either have household income below 80% of your county's area median income or be enrolled in a listed assistance program such as SNAP, Medicaid or LEAP. Each person can get one rebate in their lifetime, and it cannot be applied to a past purchase.
